Hepatitis A Vaccine — 1 Dose
The Hepatitis A vaccine helps protect against hepatitis A virus infection.
Around one month after receiving the first dose of the Hepatitis A vaccine, approximately 95% of individuals can develop protective antibodies against infection.
The Hepatitis A vaccine is generally well tolerated. The most common side effects include pain, redness, swelling or warmth at the injection site.
The full vaccination course consists of 2 doses. The second dose is usually given 6 to 18 months after the first dose.
