Hepatitis A & B Vaccine — 1 Dose

Hepatitis A & B Vaccine — 1 Dose

The Hepatitis A and B Combined Vaccine helps protect against both hepatitis A and hepatitis B virus infections.

Hepatitis A infection may, in rare cases, lead to fulminant hepatitis, also known as acute liver failure. Hepatitis B vaccination helps reduce the risk of hepatitis B infection and related complications, such as liver cirrhosis and liver cancer.

A full vaccination course usually consists of 3 doses over 6 months:

  • 1st dose: initial vaccination
  • 2nd dose: around 1 month after the first dose
  • 3rd dose: around 5 months after the second dose

Completing all three doses helps the body develop a stronger antibody response against hepatitis A and hepatitis B viruses. Please follow the vaccination schedule advised by your doctor or healthcare professional.

  • This vaccine may be suitable for:

  • A full vaccination course usually consists of 3 doses over 6 months:

    • The second dose is usually given around 1 month after the first dose
