Before Resting ECG

On the day of the test, please avoid applying body lotion, antiperspirant or talcum powder to the upper body.

Stool Test

You may collect a stool sample container from our centre one day before your appointment and collect the sample at home.

Alternatively, you may collect the container on the day of your appointment and return the stool sample on the same day, or submit it to our centre afterwards.

The stool sample must be returned to our centre within 24 hours after collection.

How to Collect a Stool Sample

You may place a rubbish bag or cling film over the toilet bowl and secure it with adhesive tape before lowering the toilet seat and passing stool.

Collect a stool sample approximately the size of a peanut. Please avoid contaminating the sample with urine, toilet water, tissue paper or other substances, as this may affect the test result.

2. Do I need to fast before the health check? How long should I fast for?

Yes. Some blood test items, such as blood glucose and blood lipid tests, require fasting.

You are advised to fast for 6–8 hours before the examination.

3. How long does the health check take?

The full examination process usually takes around 1–2 hours.

The actual time may vary depending on the appointment schedule and individual examination arrangements on the day.

4. When will the report be available?

Reports are usually available within approximately 1–3 working days.

5. Do I need to make an appointment? How can I book?

Yes. All health checks require advance booking.

6. What happens if my results are abnormal?

If any abnormal results are found, we will provide recommendations for further assessment or referral to an appropriate specialist where needed, helping you arrange follow-up and further medical care.

7. Can this package detect cancer?

This package includes several cancer-related screening markers, such as PSA and CEA, which may help assess risk markers related to common male cancers, including prostate cancer and colorectal cancer.

However, these tests cannot detect all types of cancer and should not be used alone as a diagnosis. Results should be interpreted together with symptoms, medical history, physical examination and further investigations where appropriate.
