Performed and Reported by a Specialist in Cardiology

3,500 Hong Kong dollars

Service Description

Book an appointment for an Exercise ECG, also known as a treadmill ECG or exercise stress test. An Exercise ECG records the heart’s electrical activity during physical exertion, usually while walking on a treadmill. It helps assess how the heart responds to exercise and may support the evaluation of symptoms such as chest discomfort, shortness of breath, palpitations or suspected exercise-induced heart problems. This examination is performed and reported by a Specialist in Cardiology, providing professional assessment and interpretation. It may be suitable for individuals aged 40 or above, people with cardiovascular risk factors such as smoking, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure or obesity, and those with a family history of heart disease. Please avoid strenuous exercise within 12 hours before the test. On the day of the examination, please wear running shoes and sportswear, and avoid wearing metal items that may interfere with the test, such as watches or belt buckles.
