Service Description
Seed Medical provides the 2026-27 Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Service. This is an inactivated influenza vaccine (IIV) administered by injection. Its formulation has been updated in accordance with the World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations for the 2026-27 Northern Hemisphere influenza season. Before vaccination, a healthcare professional will assess suitability based on factors such as age, health condition, allergy history and relevant vaccine product information. In general, seasonal influenza vaccination may be suitable for most individuals aged 6 months or above, including children, adults, older adults, pregnant women and certain people with chronic medical conditions. Suitability should still be assessed according to individual health circumstances. Common post-vaccination reactions are usually mild and temporary and may include pain or redness at the injection site, fatigue, muscle aches or a mild fever. If you have previously experienced a severe allergic reaction to an influenza vaccine or any of its components, or if you have a fever or are feeling unwell on the day of vaccination, please inform the healthcare professional before receiving the vaccine.
